Zinc partners with Hello Tomorrow
- jun. 2018 -

We are delighted to announce our partnership with Hello Tomorrow - a global non-profit on a mission to unlock the potential of 'Deeptech' to help solve some of the world's toughest challenges.

Zinc will join the Hello Tomorrow ecosystem, providing our expertise in product & service design across hardware and software, to help accelerate startups going from lab to market in the most effective way.

With its headquarters based in Paris, Hello Tomorrow organises startup competitions, mentorship programs and a series of events around the world, as well as educating and consulting relevant stakeholders on the emergence of technologies.  The flagship event is the Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge which is a worldwide renowned startup competition designed specifically to address the needs of Deeptech entrepreneurs across several different industries and technologies.

The Challenge gives science & engineering focused entrepreneurs around the globe a platform for their research and projects, providing equity-free prize money as well as other funding opportunities, global visibility and connections with key players in the Deeptech innovation network. Winners of the 2017 competition were Lilium, the company behind the first vertical take off electric jet (pictured above).

Zinc partners with businesses to design and build experiences across physical & digital for our rapidly developing connected world. We are most excited when we have the chance to help solve the big industrial, societal or environmental problems across the globe with our holistic contextual approach to innovation, human-centered design and product development.

The applications to the Hello Tomorrow Challenge 2018 are open now until September 14, 2018, and we will also be sharing the Global Challenge with our network of innovative startups and entrepreneurs:

To be considered for the competition, startups need to comply with the following guidelines:

1.     Based on a new technology, a scientific discovery or a complex engineering process
2.     In early-stage development (up to series A or projects not yet incorporated)
3.     Solving and industrial, societal or environmental challenge

We look forward to collaborating with exciting companies that are paving the way towards impactful solutions for the world’s most pressing issues!
